From Toffa Berg Photography

Image of the Week 40 – 2021

This week’s image is from Hellestø/Bybergsanden with Feistein fyr (Feistein lighthouse in the background). As with many of these older images, there is not much story behind the shot. Bybergsanden is one of the locations I tended to visit often during my earlier years shooting. Both because I fell somewhat in love with the place, and also because it makes for a great location when the waves break onto the pebble beach. I orgiginally shot this image as a 3:2 aspect ratio image, but I revisited this old image this year, and found that it works better as 5×4. It made the lighthouse in the distance fall more in the middle while still keeping the rule of thirds.

Hellestø at Sola, Rogaland, Norway.
