Our next stop was Bardufoss – a place that, on this voyage, became a symbol of patience, perseverance, and a touch of sweltering anticipation.

 

Waiting Game: Bardufoss and Knotten’s Resurrection

From Senja, we journeyed to Bardufoss on a Sunday evening. Fueled by the news that Knotten would be ready to reclaim the road on Monday, July 31st. However, the wheels of fate turned differently. Lians Caravan & Fritid, our allies in Knotten’s revival, encountered a minor setback. A case of getting the wrong brake pads delivered. And so, we found ourselves in a familiar spot – waiting.

 

 

Anticipation and Elation: Knotten’s Grand Return

Tuesday dawned, bringing with it a mix of eagerness and uncertainty. The day unfurled slowly, accompanied by the silence of a phone that refused to ring. Just as the shadows grew long and the day was almost done, a ray of hope broke through. An hour before closing time, my phone finally chimed with the news we had been longing for – Knotten was ready to roll.
