From Toffa Berg Photography

Baptised in snow and ice

Here are some pictures from my trip to Sirdalen (Sir Valley) in West-Agder county. This was a rather spontanious trip in some part as I’ve only planed for a trip to Gyadalen (Gya Valley), but as I saw that the weather was getting better further in valley I just kept driving. Not only were my aim to take some new pictures, but I was also out to test my new Nikon MB-D200, that I resently purchased. In the beginning of the trip through Sirdalen, few opertunities presented them self as any striking scenes for photography as the sun was high and the valley was filled with snow. I began to think that;  “ok, maybe I can work with the ones I took at Varhaug and Gyadalen”, and then on the road back towards Hundadalen and Byrkjedal I came around a bend and saw the scenes I’ve presented to you here. Not only I was happy to stop and take some pictures, but may partner; the minitaure schnauzer Edwart was also overjoy as he got a chance to run a bit in the snow. A thing he really loves.
The bottom picture is not from Sirdalen, but is a HDR-image I took in Gloppedalsura on the way home.
