Come fall – Come all the colours
Finally summer is over, and many may think that this year, summer have abandoned us as the typical summerweather have eluded to show. But nature follows it’s normal course of the year, and that means that it have had it’s stark green coat on. I’m not writing this in a negative manner, but for me and I guess many other landscapeshooters, bright green vistas with an almost uniform hue of green don’t make for interesting pictures. So in the light of that notion, it’s like waiting for christmas for us when the calender tips from August and over to September.
Suddenly the lovely colours begin to appear. First yellow hues as the first leafs begins to fall and facebook begins to be filled with outcries of people wanting to go down south since also colder winds begins to whip up and rain (ok, theres been much of rain durring this summer) begins to pour down. But if you ask me, I think the fall has it’s charm. What could be nice then coming in from a cold phototrip, putting on a warm pair of trousers, and a nice warm woolen jumper, covering one self up in a nice warm blanket with a nice cup of tea or coffee and listening to the downpour splashing and running down the window. Then putting on some good old Tom Waits, and enjoy your newly shot pictures as a slideshow on the TV.
