Tungenes Fyr (lighthouse) is the northern tip of the district Jæren in the county Rogaland. This is one of my regular sites where I do my landscapes. Some of these pictures will be displayed here. I also would like to tell you a bit about this lighthouse as it’s one of my favorite places to go to when I need to get out and clear my mind.
Tungenes lighthouse is a wooden lighthouse built in 1828 and rebuilt  in 1862 and 1898, and taken out of service in 1984. To day the light is moved to a little island called “Bragen” that lies a bit out in the sea from the old lighthouse building. The new lighthouse is fully automated.
All pictures are shot with Nikon D200, D70 and Nikon D800, Tamron SP and Nikon Nikkor lenses and captured on SanDisk Ultra digital film.
