The gear many of us forget
Many of us love gear, and can’t get enough of it. We lug heavy backpacks with tons of gear to help us nail the shot. The perfect moment that will put awe in the mouth of those who see the image. Extra battries, memory cards, tele converter,

Filters
In these day and age with powerful editingsoftware like Photoshop and Lightroom, have filters become redundant? My answer is both yes and no. The old effectfilters like softfocus, starfilters, colorspots, colourfilters for b/w photography, colour-correction filters, warm-up and also the common skylight-filter is now easier and more
What format do I regular shoot
What format do I regular shoot? A good question. I tend to lean toward the 4×5 format, finally available in camera with my Nikon D800. The reason for this is that I find it eliminate some compositional problems that I personally have with the edges of the
A rather blustery day
It’s been pouring down for weeks and the mood has gone blue. As the light and drama have been abscent, it’s always a treat when the grey sky breaks and gives way for some good landscapes with drama. The shots here were taken at Lindesnes lighthouse at

Magic or just another tool…
A post commenting on the purist thoughts that one should not edit or manipulate ones images. I try here to show that what we think of as image manipulation is not to degrade photography, but an integral part of the process of what photography is.
Are you shocked?
I thought that I should shock you guys a bit. Ok, not shock you but show you that I don’t just do landscapes or consert, but also that I sometimes do som portraitwork as well. One thing that many of you don’t know is that portrait was
The U-Turn
